The Lorri Hahn Memorial Fund honors the life and legacy of Lorri Hahn, who served the Guilford community for close to 20 years as the Communications Director for the Guilford Board of Education. Lorri was widely known for her warmth, kindness, and genuine care for others. Through her work, she built bridges between the schools and the community—sharing stories that celebrated students and staff, and ensuring families always felt informed, respected, and connected.

In addition to her work with the schools, Lorri was deeply involved in the community as a member of the Board of Directors for Guilford Youth & Family Services. Her dedication to supporting children, families, and communication within the town reflected her lifelong belief that empathy and collaboration make communities stronger.

Lorri’s impact extended far beyond her professional and civic roles. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose compassion and humor touched everyone who knew her. She deeply believed in the strength of community and the power of clear, caring communication to bring people together.

The Lorri Hahn Memorial Fund is administered by The Guilford Foundation, which serves as the charitable steward for the fund. Each year, two grants will be awarded to graduating Guilford High School seniors who embody Lorri’s spirit—students who demonstrate a commitment to community service, a love of communication and collaboration, kindness and integrity, and a dedication to learning and personal growth.

Through this fund, Lorri’s light will continue to shine in the next generation of young people who care deeply for their community, lift others up, and make Guilford a stronger, more connected place for all.
