Gwendolyn Gunn and Norman Marshall established the Gunn-Marshall Performing Arts Diversity Fund in 2017. This is a field of interest fund that distributes grants to area non-profits within the specified focus area.
Guilford Institute Fund
In 2014, Tom Pinchbeck, then president of The Guilford Foundation, invited trustees of the Guilford Institute to consider joining the Guilford Foundation’s fold of legacy funds.
David W. Knapp Fund
David Knapp, longtime Guilford resident, established the David W. Knapp Fund in 2016. It’s unrestricted so it can be directed towards existing and future needs of the town.
Jake Penman Memorial Scholarship
Jake Penman (1993-2008) was a sophomore at Guilford High School in 2008 when he unexpectedly passed away. He enjoyed life to the fullest, especially woodworking, computers, music, fishing, and canoeing, and was an enthusiastic spectator of all sports.
Ralph Schipani, Jr. Memorial Fund
Honoring Ralph Schipani Jr.’s love of baseball, the family established a scholarship fund for two GHS graduates equally as passionate about the sport.
